Christine of http://bumblelog.blogspot.com/ and I decided to visit Cincin with our partners. Cincin was recommended by Christine’s brother and I will also recommend it to others who are interested in it.
We ordered the 4 course menu for 59/set.
The mare set, had the octopus, gnocchi of spinach + ricotta, sablefish and creme brulee
The terra set, had the braised beef, risotto of wild + cultivated mushroom, wood spit roasted pork rack and tiramisu
Between the two, I would totally go with the mare set. The terra set was nice; however the mare set was the far superior set.
Overall I was impressed with the food and service. It slowed down slightly in between the pre entree and entree; however, everything else went smoothly. The average entree prices are 30+ so be prepare to drop a bit at the night out at Cincin.
the meaning of CinCin
when people in the mediterranean regions gather for a celebration, the word “chin-chin” can be heard amid the sounds of clinking glasses and loud laughter. It’s a toast that’s made to good health, old friends and the pleasures of fine food and wine.
